The purpose of this oral history interview with Mark M. Waksberg is to preserve a significant moment of history where three days of peace and music was enough to bring together hundreds of thousands of people into one space. This project gives a first hand account of Woodstock along with background on the Festival and the 1960’s as a whole which is supported by multiple scholarly and primary sources.
