Description
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the Vietnam War through the eyes of a survivor and to better understand the conflict that happened throughout the war. The interview with Roland Blocksom addresses his personal experience as a veteran and his judgements and opinions on the causes of the war. The Oral History Project offers researchers different perspectives of individuals that no other historical source provides. Understanding our past is essential to our ability to understand ourselves and the world around us. This project educates readers about the Vietnam War and offers young historians an opportunity to become an expert on a historical event.
